New To Yoga And Pilates



  • If you are new to Yoga and Pilates – relax – you don’t have to be super flexible or
    extra strong in order to start your practice.
    Each of us is unique and so is the Equilibrium Yoga and Pilates Studio.
  • All you need bring with you to class is a fun loving attitude and a smile! The studio provides blankets, props, water and changing rooms for our valued Yoga and Pilates practitioners.
  • To gain maximum benefit from your class, we suggest:
  • Dress comfortably and preferably wear something in which you can stretch.
  • Allow at least three or four hours since your last meal.

Always tell your Yoga/Pilates teacher if you are/have:

  • specific body problem areas,
  • back and spinal complaints,
  • are pregnant,
  • have had a recent injury, illness, or surgery,
  • suffer from high blood pressure, heart problems or osteoporosis.

We respectfully request that you refrain from talking during the class as it will disturb others and detract from your ability to focus.
